BIDV’s Board of Management meets with the delegation of senior officials from the Lao People's Revolutionary Party
During the meeting, the Lao delegation expressed great interest in BIDV’s business experiences and success factors. They raised questions regarding the bank’s approach to navigating global uncertainties, its digital transformation strategy, and human resource policies, among others. Representing the Lao delegation, Mr. Maiphong Maixay – Party Committee Member, Rector of the University of Health Sciences (Ministry of Health), and Head of the Delegation – expressed his sincere gratitude for BIDV’s warm welcome. He congratulated BIDV on its remarkable accomplishments over the past 68 years and appreciated the bank’s continuous support for economic development projects, enterprise financing, and social welfare activities in Laos. Concluding the working session, Mr. Phan Duc Tu – Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV – reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to closely aligning with the orientations and support of the Party, Government, ministries, and Lao business community. He expressed BIDV’s dedication to ensuring that its commercial entities in Laos effectively fulfill their assigned economic and political tasks.
