On 21 February, BIDV Thai Ha Branch in collaboration with the National Hospital of Pediatrics (NHP) organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Day with the participation of 90 people.

55 units of blood was donated through this event. Annually the NHP provides treatment for thousands of children from across the country every year. Sadly, the country has many pediatric patients suffering from incurable diseases and blood diseases. The number of blood units available to treat patients has become increasingly scarce. In the context of the current Covid-19 outbreak, supplies of blood reserves have decreased sharply. Many patients are in need of safe blood to stay alive and fight infection.
