  • I. Conditions for issuance of BIDV domestic debit cards:
    • 1. Target customers: Individuals who wish to issue and use BIDV domestic debit card
    • 2. Conditions:
      • For primary cardholder:
      • Individuals aged 15 years or over who do not lose or have limited capacity for civil acts, have no difficulty in understanding and mastering his/her behavior as prescribed by law.
      • Have a current account opened at BIDV or register to open a current account at BIDV at the time of card issuance.
      • Apart from having to satisfy the above conditions, foreigners need to have valid residency of at least 12 months in Vietnam.
      • For supplementary cardholder:
      • Individuals aged 15 years or over who do not lose or have limited capacity for civil acts, have no difficulty in understanding and mastering his/her behavior as prescribed by law, and have a written agreement by their legal representative on the use of card;
      • To be registered for issuance by the Primary Cardholder and allowed to use card as Supplementary Cardholder.
      • Apart from having to satisfy the above conditions, foreigners need to provide evidence on their valid residency of at least 12 months in Vietnam.
  • II. Domestic debit card issuance procedure via branch:
    • 1. Card issuance application:
      • Agreement for issuance and use of debit cards and value-added services following BIDV’s forms from time to time (including Application for card issuance and usage and Card Terms and Conditions) here
      • Identification documents:
      • Vietnamese citizens: Copy of ID document of cardholder.
      • Foreigners: Copies of valid passport and visa (for cases where visas are not exempted according to Vietnamese law) of cardholder and cardholder’s legal representative (if applicable).
      • Evidence of valid residency in Vietnam for foreigners.
    • 2. Card issuance procedure:
      • Customers can contact for card issuance directly at BIDV branches and transaction offices nationwide or call to BIDV Contact Center Hotline at 19009247 for detailed information.
      • BIDV branches and transaction offices receive and check customer’s application for card issuance.
      • BIDV agrees to issue the card if the information is valid and customer is eligible for card issuance.
      • BIDV staff provides customer with Receipt specifying card delivery deadline.
      • Customer brings ID card to BIDV branch to receive card and PIN on the date stated on the Receipt.
    • 3. Card issuance turnaround time: Maximum 6 working days.
  • III. Online domestic debit card issuance procedure:
    • 1. Customers visit the online registration link 🅘//ebank.tuyendung.smartbanking.yes88play.xyz/DKNHDT/dkspdv.htm, select BIDV Card Products, then click Domestic Debit Card, perform Submit Registration.
    • 2. BIDV Contact Center staff will make a phone call to customers for confirmation.
    • 3. Applications of confirmed customers are forwarded to BIDV Branch for document collection and card issuance.
    • 4. Customers visit BIDV branch to complete card issuance dossier. The required documentation is similar to card issuance via branch.
    • 5. BIDV branch provides customer with Receipt specifying card delivery deadline.
    • 6. Customer brings ID card to BIDV branch to receive card and PIN on the date stated on the Receipt.
